Greetings! Welcome to the web site of Bill’s Caricatures. I am a professional party caricature artist based out of Jacksonville Florida. I have been working full time as an event cartoonist for the past 24 years. I draw at weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs and local markets.
My story begins at UCF where I earned a bachelor’s degree in film animation in 1998. After graduation, I began working as a sketch artist in the Orlando theme parks. I got my start at Sea World and then worked for 4 years at Walt Disney World. Since 2003, I have been based out of my home town of Jacksonville Florida.
I have traveled as far north as Buford Georgia and as far south as Miami Florida. Primarily, I work closer to home in locations like: Savannah Georgia, St Augustine Florida, Gainesville Fl, Hilton Head Georgia, Brunswick Georgia, St Simons Island Georgia and Jekyll Island Georgia.
Every day I have the opportunity to take on new challenges. I have worked as a court sketch artist for the Jacksonville Federal Court House. Also, my work was showcased on the syndicated television series “The Dead Files”.
I have sketched commissioned art work for companies such as Ameris Bank, Florida Blue, PRI and The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund.

Let me explain just how wild and wacky I can be!
For traditional caricatures, I charge $100-$150 per hour with a two hour minimum. I request a 50% deposit with the balance being payable at the event. Also, I can provide a contract. If I travel; additional fees will apply.
At optimum, I can draw 15-20 black and white faces per hour. I draw on 11x14 inch card stock with a black ink marker. Also, I provide a 13x17 inch clear plastic bag to protect and display the art.
Let me showcase my digital skills at your event or convention! Computer drawn caricatures are great for clients who want to entertain their guests as well a promote their company. Although, traditionally drawn caricatures are a good souvenir, the guests walks away with only a single sketch on card stock. With digital, the client can have the option of having their company logo printed on each sketch, receive a 4x6 color print, have a 33inch monitor displaying the drawing in progress and have a plastic badge holder and lanyard for each guest to wear their cartoon. A QR code will be provided so the client and guests can access a Dropbox account to download a file of their art.
I will be drawing on an 11inch iPad Air and connecting wirelessly to an inkjet cannon printer, I will attach my monitor to my iPad via an HDMI to USB-C adaptor. For easy access, I will display a copy of the QR code at the location. I will provide the plastic badge holders and lanyards.
At optimum, I can draw 10 color faces per hour. My rates for digital drawing start at $200 per hour. I have a two hour minimum. I will travel wherever my clients request as long as they are willing to cover my traveling fees.
